Du salon à l’atelier…un chemin sinueux…

La version, que je crois finale, quoique l’acharnement artistique je connais cela…… mais je pense qu’il est bien terminé ce pastel d’Alicia Silverstone; ainsi que les deux versions précédentes, travaillées lors des deux ou trois dernières semaines….sporadiquement…très sporadiquement…:), entre des périodes pas très actives, du genre de celles où on se dit qu’on devrait faire quelque chose et qu’on se perd en chemin, du salon à l’atelier…environ 1,5 m dans mon cas…

The final version, but is it? of this Alicia Silverstone pastel’s, I think it is over and done, but that would not be the first time, that I decide to add a bit more, but now I think it is finished….and also the previous two versions, done over the last few weeks, between many periods of telling myself, I should do something, like art…but got lost more than often between my living room, computer and l’atelier…about 1,5 m or 2 max between these places…need some king of GPS…

Pas la tête à peindre, dessiner ou blogger….bon temps de se grouiller le c…..donc voici une autre partie de l’atelier du 12 octobre, maintenant en retard de deux…ça viendra…aussi un peu de pastel, cela aussi prochainement…aussitôt que je me serai enfin grouillé le c…., savez où le dos perd son nom….

Not much into painting, drawing or blogging as a matter of fact, time to get my a…..off the coach, oops couch I meant….sometimes I should look into google translater….., stopping to be a potato…so here’s a few pic of the october 12 th life drawing session, yes I’m two weeks late now…so as soon as I can move this body part, you know where the back is not anymore your back…then I should be able to post more things, other sketches, pastels, paintings and so on…

Toujours pas très actif côté peinture, ou autres…faudra bien un jour que ça reparte….ça viendra, en attendant les esquisses de 3 minutes d’une des dernières séances de modèles…un petit quelque chose en attendant…:)

Still not very active, or still still….I guess somehow sometimes the urge to draw or paint will be back, in the meantime, 3 minutes sketches from a recent life model session…

heu écrivard? enfin voilà quelques esquisses qui datent de dix jours, le reste des esquisses de cet atelier, celui de vendredi dernier est aussi à photographier, donc plus de matériel suivra au cours des prochains jours…une manière ‘d’alimenter’ mon blog plus régulièrement…un peu au ralenti ces jours ci…:)

Not very present these days..so here’s a few sketches from a life model session, 10 days ago, still have to photograph the one from last friday, so more will be coming in the next few days…so maybe there will be a bit more to show and more frequently….:)

Repris où j’en étais hier soir, un peu fatigué, donc plus calme…il y a un bon côté à tout….et elle retrouve tranquillement son visage, qui je crois cette fois ci est où il devrait être….pour ce qui est du reste, c’est encore à voir, la lumière est étrange…comme il se doit dans une forêt habitée par une déesse des temps modernes, sous un radieux ciel ensoleillé de noir…étrange je disais….

Did kept going on last night painting, a bit more tired today, but calmer, in the mood for trying to get her face where it’s belong…and I think it is quite right now…more work still, as for the rest of this painting, with a strange light in a strange forest, inhabited by a modern goddess…so the light is strange, but it is also a sunny day under a black sky…so I guess it is a bit strange…

Je me suis toujours dit que dans mon blog, je présenterais les bons coups, du moins à mes yeux, et les moins bons, voir mauvais…comme ce soir, non pas mauvais, seulement un dérapage…non vraiment contrôlé….

I told myself that this blog would show the good things, and the not so good ones of my painting or drawing, so tonight is maybe not a bad one, but one that went sideway, with not much control…

Commencé la soirée en perdant du temps…à toutes sortes d’affaires, un jour je conterai….donc trop tard un peu de pastel, me sentais un peu trop énervé…donc avant de le pousser un peu trop, je l’ai sagement mis de côté, ce que j’aurais peut-être dû faire avec ce tableau, Kristen…me suis rendu compte, trop tard de nombreuses erreurs de dessin, j’aurais peut-être dû les endurer, je ne l’ai pas fait, par contre il y a beaucoup de mouvement, et toutes sortes de choses….la photo…pour le pastel, pas de photo, pas assez de changements..

Spent too much time, early in the evening, on useless things….some day I will talk about it, maybe…so got to do some pastel, felt a bit too restless, so like the wise man, I can sometimes be…I put it away before it went ‘bezarK’, should have done the same with this painting, Kristen, got in the mood to correct drawings error, too many of them and end up moving a lot of thing around…so for the least I can say that it is a painting with a lot of movement…the photo…no photo for the pastel, not too many changes from yesterday…

Retravaillé quelque peu ce pastel, un peu plus dans les prochains jours…il se fait tard et le temps est relativement court, compressé…:) c’est relatif aurait dit Einstein…

A bit of work on this pastel of Rachel Kirby, a bit more in the next days..time is short, compressed…:) Einstein would had qualified it otherwise…:)

Tourner en rond…? alors peindre..

Peu de temps pour peindre, à peine le temps de pondre un court article sur une nouvelle toile commencée en fin-de-semaine, tournait en rond, pour toutes sortes de raisons, je tourne en rond lorsque cela ne tourne pas rond pour moi…alors me suis dit, pourquoi pas un petit tableau d’après une esquisse…alors voici le début…

Not much time for painting, or blogging, but a short post to show a new painting, a copy of a model sketch, did not know what I wanted to paint, did not know much about anything sometimes last week end, so instead of spinning my wheels, doing nothing, I though that maybe a painting, without much preparation or planning would be better than what I was doing, which was going from nothing to walking to the end of my appartment and back to the atelier, so here’s the beginning of this painting, very sketchy at this point
