A new painting? yes in a sense which means too no in a sense, actually it was started in October 2013…during my October crisis, painting wise it is, but a bit like the ‘guerre des trente ans’ that lingered for many more years than 30, my October crisis went for almost half of 2013…well enough with that, so a new painting, and of course this is a new year…
so HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

This model photograph, who for a few days, draw me back to my easel..

The very first few steps of this new painting, when I did stumbled upon this pic, I though it will be a very nice painting, taken by her style, playing with textures, forms and shades, it will be fun…so I hope it will live to my expectations.

    • Thanks Dean! I do have a good feeling about this one, in fact there is already a few pics waiting…just keeping them for a future post…:)

Hopefully, I finally got back to painting for good, just can’t explain, of course I do have a few good reasons, why I stop, I guess It was mainly a long break…

  2. I wish I could go through a time window to a younger day and be one of your beautiful, inspiring models. I just love all this beauty you express.
Well, perhaps I could be an inspiring model… with very large sunglasses, and the right pose with my hair flowing as a veil.

      • I see how you work. It’s wonderful.
I used to be an artist model. It paid my way through college design school. I have a deep affection for artists and their work.
I was pencil sketches, conte, pastels, gestures and even a few sculptures. What an enriching time that was for me.
Keep your good works flowing when you can. Work, well… I do it, too!
You’ve probably already seen my work, but just in case here’s my CV site that needs updating.
