Dans cette partie, les méandres de peinture se font moins rares et surtout moins changeant, la difficulté était surtout le dessin du ou des visages, les mains, que je montre peu, on a pas tendance à mettre en valeur nos points faibles…mais parfois faut aussi affronter nos manques…j’ai moins de difficultés à le faire en peinture et dessin que dans le reste de ma vie…mais cela c’est une autre histoire…:) Les changements se faisaient plutôt vers les bords du tableau, mais pas de changements radicaux comme ce tableau en a connus…
This last leg of the making of this paintng was more straithforward, except for changes in the face, or faces and a bit of taking off or adding on the sides, but the main composition remained, a lot of trouble with the hands, hands and face are still a chanllenge to me, more than often I won’t emphasize hands, we tend to shy away from things that we not so good at, but sometimes you have to take them on…I find it easier to do in painting than in real life…but this is another story…so back to painting….

Finalement, tranquillement, j’en suis arrivé à un point où l’on se dit, ‘ok c’est cela, on y est, le seul regret, je pense que ses mains ne sont pas aussi bien qu’à l’ètape précédente…ce sera pour la prochaine…
Finally, I did got to the point where you tell yourself, ok I think this is it, it is finished, looking at it now, I don’t like the hands, they were better in a previous stage, I guess it will be for the next time, her or another….

I started doing it many years ago, I think by the end of 2004, but I did lost 2 or 3 years worth in a computer crash and bad back up practice…now they are all over the place, on my external drives, on the net…:), I found it does teach me a few things when I look back to them…and they are fun to make and watch…:), I don’t feel so at ease writing about them…than painting them, but I’m trying to get better at both…:D
2004, well it was awhile ago but now it’s done. It seems you are finishing many paintings these days.

Yes it comes in batch it seems…but those were finished in the first half of 2013, but there is more to come, and 3 or 4 that are almost done..time to ‘cook’ a new batch…:)
