C’est le nom de la chaîne de montagnes que l’on aperçoit en arrivant à Eureka, au Nunavut, elles sont à l’est de la station à environ 60 km si ma mémoire est bonne…elles offrent un spectacle magnifique, que ne rend malheureusement pas tout-à -fait ce cliché pris de la fenêtre du Twin Otter qui nous amenait à la station. Je dois avoir quelque part dans mes diapositives non numérisées quelques diapos où l’on les verra un peu mieux, en attendant j’ai cette photo…

It is the name of the mountain range that is about 60 km east of Eureka, in Nunavut, they are quite magnificent, although we never did flew directly over them, unfortunately this photo, taken from the window of the Twin Otter that was taking us to the station doesn’t really show how beautiful the sight was. I probably do have other slides not yet scanned, that show them under better conditions, in the meantime I have this one photo to show…
