Je retrouve de beaux souvenirs en dépoussiérant mes vielles diapos…comme ce dessin fait en 1985, donc au tout début de ma ‘carrière’ d’artiste…et déjà mes goûts et style s’affirmaient…:) C’est d’après une photo de Carly Simon, prise parNorman Sieff, pour son album ‘Playing Possum’ et mon interprétation au crayon…ce qui me fait penser que parfois j’aime bien reprendre des vieilleries, un pastel ou une huile serait bien…:)

Going through my old slides, I am coming across some nice and forgotten souvenirs…like this pencil drawing, done in 1985, two years then that I took my first drawing lesson…and I guess I can say that already my choice subject and style were already in place…this is a Carly Simon drawing, interpreted from a picture taken by Norman Sieff for her album ‘Playing Possum’, and now I am telling myself, maybe this is one I would like to do again…this time in pastel, or oils…:)
