Eh oui, mon modèle favori, pas de bottes, que des petites pattes douces, de dos , la tête de côté en l’air…gardant un oeil sur ce qui se passe à l’extérieur, rien ne se passe, pas grave…il ne s’en fait pas avec cela, et à défaut de rien, il s’inventera bien quelque chose pour l’occuper, ou tout simplement s’allonger et ronronner…

My favorite model, this one not wearing boots, it would need four, so just four soft furry paws, turning his back on me, and looking, dont really know where, cats have this strange habit of looking at nothing and being so interested, so it is not important that nothing goes on in the back yard, he will find something, even an imaginary something to keep him fixing, and if really nothing goes on, he will just lay there, and purr…..

Une semaine qu’il était arrivé, le jour de Noël, comme on dit par ici j’aurais pu me faire passer un sapin de Noël, expression ici qui veut dire se faire avoir, mais ce n’est pas le cas, c’est plutôt un beau cadeau…il ne le savait pas, c’est le jour de l’an, une nouvelle année, une nouvelle demeure, mais cela ne l’occupe guère, par contre le sac de cajoleries pour chat….

This photo was taken a week after he ‘moved’ to my place, on last Christmas Day, a gift, sort of, here in Quebec, we have a saying that goes as ‘se faire passer un sapin de Noel’ not easy to translate, something word to word like ‘shoving a Christmas tree’ meaning  that  somebody gave or did something not very nice to you…not the case here, is a beautiful and gentle cat, that day was New Year’s day, a new year, a new home and human owner or rather ‘servant’…:) but it did not matter much to him, but he was indeed very interesting by the cat’s treat bag….:)
