J’allais écrire que je faisais de la vraie peinture et de la numérique, fausse ne conviendrait pas je crois….:)  Comparez les deux se fait bien difficilement mais les deux mediums ont en commun de reconditionner les réflexes du peintre qui était en pause depuis bien longtemps en moi, je n’essaierai pas ici de décider si l’une vaut mieux que l’autre, même si un tableau est bien plus palpable qu’un fichier…à moins de faire imprimer le fichier sur une toile, mais tant qu’à faire cela je déciderais probablement de peindre sur toile le tableau que j’ai fait numériquement

Would not be fair to compare one against the other, I will just say that both right now are two convenient ways of getting the painter inside me out of his ‘lethargy’, of course the result of painting on canvas is real and you can touch it, wait a bit so it has dried of course…as for the numeric one I can sent the file to a printer and have it on canvas, but of course I would rather take the file and make a painting out of it…let’s say it is a good way to make sketches and decide If I will do something on canvas with it…

Donc un tableau et un autre, virtuel…si vous ne parvenez pas à distinguer un de l’autre, un ‘hint’ E- est pour électronique, quoique N pour numérique ou D pour digital aurait été plus approprié

So a ‘real’ and a virtual painting, If you can’t make the difference, here’s a hint, E stand for Electronic, although N or D may seems more appropriate, for numeric or digital

I could go longer looking for advantages of one medium over the other, but for now the main advantage of finishing a session with the tablet is that you can’t smear ultramarine blue on your hands putting away the paper palette….:)

Je pourrais énumérer plein de pour et contre, les avantages d’un médium sur l’autre, mais pour le moment je vais m’arrêter au fait que l’on ne peut avec une tablette se ‘beurrer’ les mains avec du bleu ultramarine sur les mains….:)
