Une étape de plus sur cette esquisse digitale / One more step on this computer sketch
Éventuellement il y a un vidéo plus complet et mieux fait, en attendant un extrait préliminaire / Eventually there will be a more decent video made, for now here a first try..
Oui du ménage, mais plus dans le sens de mettre de l’ordre dans mes répertoires, surtout ceux contenant les images de mes esquisses digitales, sur lesquelles j’ai recommencé à travailler, du moins un peu et que je voudrais bien mener à terme, donc une que j’ai peut-être déjà présentée et que je compte retravailler bientôt, une esquisse d’après photo d’une de mes top modèles favorites, voilà un certain temps de cela, Lonneke Engel, donc l’esquisse et la photo de Lonneke.
Some cleaning, but more in the sense of putting some order in my files and folders, especially in those digital sketches, into which I am coming back, many were undertaken, few if none really finished, so I am sorting them and one that I will rework soon is this one, made from copying a photo of then top model, around year 2000…Lonneke Engel, one of my favorite….so this sketch and the pic that serve as model for the sketch…
Non ce n’est pas pour la prochaine série découlant de la série ‘Le trône de fer’, la nouvelle série est House of Dragons, probablement la Maison des dragons en français je présume, et comme on le sait dans la première série, on nous dit tout le temps, Winter is coming, l’hiver s’en vient et les morts vivants de glace, enfin ils n’ont pas l’air commode…mon modèle elle, elle est en hiver mais cela semble moins dramatique…:)
No, it is not to talk about the new program coming soon, something in the same alley of Games of Throne, House of dragons, don’t know yet if it is a ‘prequel’ or a ‘sidequel’ or other, but we often heard in the Games of Throne about that winter that is coming, it was quite frightening, with those ice cold dead warriors and peoples coming to the Wall…not the one either of Roger Waters and Pink Floyd…so my model, her, she is already in winter, but does not seems to scary, it fact rather cool but comfy…less dramatic than having a dead icy King heading an army of frozen dead warriors…:)
Maybe I should show again the original pic inspiring me for this one sketch, someday the sketch will be more or less like the photo…Peut-être est-ce le temps de présenter l’image et le modèle qui m’a inspiré pour cette esquisse, éventuellement l’esquisse devrait ressembler plus ou moins à cette photo…
J’avoue que je ne connais pas sa musique, mais une photo prise lors d’un gala, American Music Award, pas sûr, a attiré mon attention, mon oeil plutôt…
I must admit, I don’t know her music, but this pic taken on a music award show, American Music Award, I am not sure…anyway the pic did caught my attention, rather I should say my eye…

La photo d’Ariana Grande, devrait peut-être écouter sa musique mais je doute que ce soit dans mes cordes…Ariana Grande pic’s, maybe I should listen to her music but somehow I doubt that it would be my ‘Style’.
Quelques tableaux qui sont ‘remis’ en production…des photos trop nombreuses à classer en vue d’articles sur mon site ‘soeur/ frère’, en anglais sister site va mieux…:), site qui traite un peu plus de photo, et qui devrait être initialement la version anglaise de mes élucubrations, alors que celui-ci devait être plus peinture, pastel et illustration, en français seulement, semble que les choses se déroulent rarement telles que l’on les a planifiées, du moins pour moi….voulait écrire un article, finalement au lieu de m’asseoir devant le clavier, me suis retrouvé devant ma tablette…le résultat d’un premier jet, ok disons plusieurs jets.
Some painting now with a new fresh coat of paint, many photos taken over the years that I did browsed through trying to classify them for future post on my sister site, not my sister, rather my other site originally dealing more with photography and before that was supposed to be my english site, this one was supposed to be french only…thing never go quite the way we plan, at least for me maybe for you….so yesterday I was trying to write something, find myself in front of my tablet, not the best tool to write a post, so I started a new digital sketch….
I am glad I did not sit in front of my keyboard, posting is important to show your work but it can wait, as long as it is not months or years…Suis bien heureux que finalement j’aie préféré la tablette au lieu du clavier…l’article peut toujours attendre…
Le modèle ? je crois que cela vient du cahier mode d’un journal aujourd’hui disparu, enfin l’édition papier, seulement électronique aujourd’hui La Presse…pense pas que ma peinture subira le même sort, j’adore dessiner avec ma palette, et maintenant je ne triche plus…je ne mets plus l’image en calque de fond pour référence, je ne l’utilisais que pour m’assurer que j’étais pas trop dans le champs, occasionnellement, maintenant je me fie à mon oeil, comme je fais habituellement lorsque je dessine…
The model ? if I do remember it was taken from the fashion section of a newspaper here in Montréal, La Presse, now published only online, paper edition has vanished. I don’t think the same thing will happen to my painting, I will do both canvas and tablet…at first I felt the need to put in a hidden layer the model image, just to start the composition and make sure I wasn’t too off…now I draw more like in the real world or in my atelier or model life session, I do rely on my eye…can’t say if I prefer painting on a canvas or with the tablet, I love both…that’s all is important to know I guess.
