Oui, comme on dit, il était temps je crois, évidemment, vous me connaissez, j’aurais pu continuer encore longtemps…mais parfois le bon sens réussit encore à se frayer un chemin dans mon cerveau, en ces rares moments, je m’empresse de signer le tableau, et de ne pas y retoucher, ce qui n’est pas rare, mais cette fois-ci, pense que la signature y est pour y rester…:)

Yes, sometimes a bit of sense is able to go through my mind, and in these rare moments, I will sign the painting, telling myself, yes I could go on more and more, but it has somehow to come to an end, or a new beginning for another work, so it is now signed, of course it has happened a few times, not so rarely, that I would keep working on a signed painting…no contract signed…but this time, I think it is a ‘permanent’ one…:)

En approche finale…In final approach…

La veille, le jour de Noël et le Boxing day, j’ai fait quoi, ben peindre évidemment, et ce tableau est comme on dit en aviation, en approche finale, Il y a longtemps que je n’ai embarqué dans un avion, mais je me souviens que c’était l’expression utilisée lorsqu’on approchait de l’aéroport, avant l’atterrissage proprement dit, le pilote annonçait  ‘mesdames, messieurs nous sommes en approche finale, veuillez attachez vos ceintures, et veuillez cesser de fumer, oui ça fait un bout que je n’ai fait un vol, donc c’est un peu le cas avec ce tableau…qui est tout près de son arrivée….attachez vos ceintures, cesser de fumer..en fait j’ai jamais fumer, la cigarette du moins….

Christmas Eve, Day and Boxing day were good for painting, and as for this painting, it is as they say in aviation, in a final approach, from what I do remember the last time I took a flight, when coming close of the landing point, the  pilot would annonce ‘we are now in final approach, fasten your seatbelts and quit smoking’, yes it was a long time ago…so I think this painting too has been on for a long time, and it is in the final approach…we can’t see the strip lighting….quit smoking…in fact I never smoke, cigarette anyhow…

La lumière en haut à gauche ne vient pas de la piste d’atterrissage, mais plutôt de la lampe de l’atelier, désolé pour le reflet…et le diaporama et la photo / The light in the upper left corner is not the airstrip lighting, just a reflexion from the lamp beside the easel, sorry for the glow,  and the slideshow and photo.

C’était la semaine avant Noël…It was the week before Christmas…

Bon j’avais écrit que je présenterais la version finale du tableau des deux Cindys…un mensonge pieux,,,je vais scinder la fin en deux ou trois articles, selon mon manque de temps plus ou moins prononcé…donc à ce moment là je me demandais si c’était un peu d’acharnement? oui possible, mais je crois que dans ce cas-ci c’est bénéfique…et j’aime tellement peindre leurs cheveux, visages, robes et bottes de mes deux Cindys…passion frôlant l’amour, enfin en n’oubliant pas que ce n’est qu’une image, qui je l’espère fera un tableau des plus réussi…:)

Yes I said that I would present the final version of this painting, but I have decided to keep a few in bank in case of I found myself as usual short of time to do my things…so at that point I was feeling a bit of relentlessness with this painting, not always a good thing but for this painting, I think it is doing some good, and besides I like so much painting their hair, dresses, boots and trying to get their faces of my two Cindy’s, I guess passion, almost love is what I feel for this   painting, or I could have wrote them, but I have to remember it is just a picture, which I do hope will become a well made painting…:)

Flashback…encore…again…

Dimanche soir, 7 décembre, oui un autre ‘flashback’, encore une fois, une autre semaine qui s’amenait, donc j’essaie de préparer quelques articles, celui-ci porte sur le tableau des Cindys qui progressent mais qui n’est pas encore rendu à la fin, toujours la question, je suis pas mal certain que je peux encore l’améliorer…à moins que je ne déciderais que c’est suffisant, toujours la même question…:)

sunday  night, December 7 th, yes another ‘flashback’ and another week was about to start, as usual I am trying to prepare some posts in advance, so this one is still about the two Cindys, it is coming along pretty good, but still I am confident that I can improve it, always the same question, and the answer is still very elusive, is it finished, to which point I can take it? Maybe I will simply decide that it is alright the way it is now…but I doubt it…:)

Toujours à la recherche de je ne sais trop quoi en fait, je dirais qu’il me semble bien, même je pourrais dire qu’il est terminé, mais j’ai encore l’impression que je peux l’améliorer avant d’arriver au moment où je pourrai me dire, oui c’est fini, il est arrivé ce tableau…ces jours-là, 3 et 4 décembre, c’est une lente progression, mais progression tout-de-même il y a….

Still looking to achieve the evanescent point where I will know, more or less..:) that it is finished, but at this point I still had the strong impression that generally everything is there, but I think I can improve it, so these nights, December 3 rd and 4 th, it is progressing, slowly but in a way I liked.

J’aurais bien continué ce tableau, (c’était le 1er décembre) enfin je pense avoir finalement réussi à capter la pose de cindy, enfin celle sur la gauche du tableau, dans le cas des deux cela a été une longue bataille, d’ailleurs leurs expressions le démontrent presque, mais voilà il est tard, trop tard, tant de choses à faire…et je me dois de laisser cela à demain…en attendant la routine de préparer la journée de demain…ah si…et ce soir, trois semaines plus tard, me voilà en train de fini cet article, et même chose, je dois penser à préparer cette nouvelle semaine, au moins celle-ci sera courte, 2 jours, 2 et demi au plus…:)

I wish I would have time to go on tonight, (December 1st…), but the same old story, got to work tomorrow, so I reluctlanly left it there, and finally I think I got Cindy’s, one of them, the on the left, fianlly got her face just about ok, could just not get it right, still not quite ok but it is coming…well that is it for now…then and tonight as I am completing the post, I have to get going to prepare the coming week…but this week, it is a short one…2 days…maybe 2 and a half…:)

Les deux Cindys, au mois d’août, comme cela fait un bout de temps, je n’ai aucune idée de ce que j’avais en tête cette journée là, probablement comme d’habitude…rien d’autre que le désir de faire un beau tableau avec bien sûr mon acharnement légendaire à pousser plus loin, reprendre et espérer que le tout soit mieux à la fin…rien de bien spécial autrement dit, la photo de cette version du 9 août….

The two Cindys, it was in August, it’s been a long time, so I can’t really say if I was in a special mood or attemping something special, revolutionning art and painting, probably just as usual, feeling the need to paint, redo a few things, hoping that the final painting will be a good one, hardly something worth writing a long essay, so here’s the pic of this August 9 th version…

Une nouvelle version de ce tableau, le ou les modèles sont Cindy Crawford, qui va et vient, soit travaillé en douceur ou   plus échevelé, cette fois-ci, je crois que c’est plus échevelé….

A new version of this painting about model Cindy Crawford, actually two of them, this painting is sometimes a bit more restrained paying attention to details, other times it is a bit more wild, this time it is more wild than detailed, this time….

Revenons sur Terre…

Je vais laisser de côté les photos et tableau de nébuleuses et présenter la dernière version du tableau des deux Cindy qui remonte à quelques jours, pas grand chose à ajouter, sauf bien sûr un peu de peinture sur le tableau, sauf que je m’amuse dans les vêtements et bottes de ces deux Cindy, je ne sais plus à laquelle me vouer…donc  un peu de temps sur une ensuite pour ne pas laisser l’autre de côté, je lui donne aussi un peu de temps, et vice versa et versa-vice…J’espérais terminer ce tableau, mais je crois qu’il faudra attendre encore un peu, c’est toujours une question de savoir jusqu’où je veux et pourrai le rendre ce tableau…

Time to leave for a moment my nebulas pictures and painting, and come back to the latest version of the two Cindys, that latest version is from a few days ago, I do have a lot of fun playing with their clothes, and boots, spending some time on one, and then to the other, have to spread my paint on both, hoping  this painting eventually will get to the point I do want….which contrary of what I was hoping, is not now, it is always a question of knowing to which extent I wish and can push it…..will see.
