Un peu de gouache…

Une expérience, un sketch commencé à l’aquarelle, qui allait moins que plus bien, tenté de corrigé avec de l’acrylique…puis je l’avais laissé de côté.  Première étape de la reprise…une bataille avec le papier ‘récalcitrant’ qui ne tient que plus non pas par un cheveu, mais un morceau de ruban gommé pour aquarelle…après une dure bataille…il est presque bien attaché au support.  Maintenant que faire de cet essai? le laisser là, ou essayer d’autre chose….par hasard, non pas vraiment par hasard, j’ai acheté lors de mon dernier pérégrinage au magasin d’art, des tubes de gouache, leur opacité et leur brillance, fera peut-être de cet essai une peinture digne de ce nom….:)

Sometimes ‘experimentation’ turn out not the way we expected…started as a quick sketch in watercolor, and it was less or more good than I wanted it to be, try to get it right adding acrylic, but still did not like the effect….. So , this morning I was asking myself what to do with this one…first had to paste back the paper on the board, it was hanging by next to nothing, it turned out to be a battle, but at least it is in position; now what can I do to get it right, or try at least… Last time I did venture out in an art supplies store, always scary, always cost me much much more than expected…I remember I bought a few tubes of gouache…opaque and brillant, they say on the paper…so why not giving them a try, and maybe I will end up with something that look more like a painting and less an expirement that went havroc….:)

And as I find this model to be so beautiful, why not showing her picture….

Et aussi, comme hier j’ai travaillé un futur projet de tableau, voici la photo retravaillée que je compte utiliser pour ce prochain tableau….
And also, since yesterday I did some work on photoshop to prepare the next painting reference photograph, why not showing this model picture too….

La prochaine expo est encore loin, donc….

Comme la prochaine exposition est encore bien loin, à une date indéterminée, il est temps de revenir aux toiles qui sont encore ‘en cours’, certaines ont été montrées, elles sont bien prêts de la fin; d’autres sont restées dans le fond de la pièce où j’avais entassé les meubles et objets qui ne servaient pas durant l’expo, c.à.d. ma chambre…ce qui fait un décor magnifique au moment du réveil….:D

Je sais que les paysages se vendent bien, il semble, bon ce sera pour plus tard…..

As the next exhibition is very far from now, it is time to come back to the works that are not finished yet, some were showned, there are very close to be finished; others are far from it and were not seen, in fact they were in the ‘backstore’, or my bedroom who served as a place to store many things that had to be move or hiden during the show, make for a nice set up waking up in the morning….:D

Seems like my landscapes were more in demand, I guess it will be for later…..

Comme tout n’était pas replacé, décidé d’y aller pour du pastel, peu de choses à préparer, et j’en ai profité pour réaménager mon coin de travail, donc la photo du modèle, de la dernière version et quelques photos de mon coin d’atelier, ‘nouveau et amélioré…’

Since not all materials were not at their place yet, I decided to go for a pastel, no big setup required, and I decide too that I should take this opportunity to rearrange my workshop, so the model photo, the last version and the new and a few shots of my ‘atelier new and improved…’
