De l’ordi au chevalet….

Bon assez ‘pitonné’ sur l’ordi et manipulé des photos, animé des modèles virtuels, après tout, le but est de peindre…ce que j’ai fait passablement dans les deux derniers jours, en essayant de transformer ce tableau d’un nu à quelque chose d’autre…

Well enough of working on the computer, playing in photoshop and animation and posing software, and dolls….:) ok virtual models is a better term…:), after all the point of all of this, and even writing these posts, is painting, or drawing. So I did paint quite a bit in the last two days, trying to change this painting of a nude model

Et tant qu’à y être la version de l’esquisse originale, et ensuite la photo du modèle 3d superposé à la version précédente du tableau, qui sert maintenant de photo référence pour la suite du tableau.
And why not showing the picture of the first sketch and then the reworked painting with the 3d model that is now the reference picture I’m using to continue this painting

Lorsque j’ai fait mes derniers vidéos, j’ai l’impression que les photos des étapes sont trop distancés, donc pour tenter de faire une transition plus douce, j’ai décidé de prendre les photos à un intervalle plus petit, évidemment je n’afficherai pas toutes ces photos dans l’article, mais elle sont dans le diaporama qui suit…

It is my impression, that when I did the latest making of video, I did not have enough photos to render a smooth transition, to try to remedy to this, I intent to take more pictures during the painting session, I won’t show them in the post, but they will be presented in the slideshow that follow

Pas une bonne semaine…

Non, ce n’a pas été une bonne semaine quant à la peinture, quelques retouches ici et là sur ce tableau acrylique d’un nu, plus une ‘pratique’ de l’acrylique…plus comme jouer avec les textures et les couleurs, aussi comme je la trouvais un peu drable…ajouté de la couleur, et des gants et des bottes….voici la dernière version, nue gantée et bottée….:)), pas terminé ce tableau, vais probablement le laisser à l’écart quelques semaines….

Not a good week, painting wise, did a bit of retouching on this acrylic painting, more like practicing with acrylics, and playing with colors, and since I thaugh this painting was missing something, I did add gloves and boots to this nude model….so here’s the latest version of a nude wearing now boots and gloves….not finished, but I will let it rest for a few weeks…

Quelques jours où j’ai repris ma mauvaise habitude….inactif…au moins été à l’atelier, tiens me fais penser qu’il faudrait bien que je les photographie ces esquisses; alors aujourd’hui, pour m’y remettre, j’ai retravaillé un nu fait d’après une esquisse, tableau à l’acrylique, qui a changé beaucoup au cours de la courte session d’aujourd’hui, donc voici la version la plus récente et le diaporama, couvant deux sessions, ou environ 5-5 heures de travail, et aussi l’esquisse originale. Continué à tester ce que je peux faire à l’acrylique, probablement pourquoi ce tableau change et prend toutes sortes de direction….l’impression d’avoir perdu quelque chose, mais confiant que je pourrai le retrouver et en faire quelque chose d’intéressant…à suivre.

Been a few days, falling into my bad habit of the last few months, not very active painting wise, at least went to the life model drawing session yesterday, and today got back to painting, an acrylic, a nude made from a previous sketch from one of the session…lot of changes in a short period today, guess I’m still experimenting or atuning my skills…at acrylic, probably why this painting is going all kind of directions, must say I do think I lost something in the process, but I’m confident I will be able to do something good with it..so here’s the latest version, the sketch picture and the slideshow, from the beginning, actually two sessions of work, let say 5-6 hours…
