Une nouvelle page, à défaut de ‘vraie’ nouveauté….une page dédié aux illustrations ordiniques en cours, bientôt il y aura aussi des diaporamas

Je ne parvenais pas trop à me décider à faire quelque chose de créatif hier soir, retravaillé une esquisse à l’ordi, et je ne parvenais non plus à trouver un titre significatif à cet article, alors comme c’est la cinquième illustration à l’ordi, eh oui E pour électronique, en fait j’en ai plus mais je les renomme au fur et à mesure que je les retravaille, donc bref, une esquisse de Lonneke Engel, un peu en reconstruction…autre terme pour dire redessiner, réparer les erreurs….

Could not get myself going doing something creativ yesterday, and could not come up with a title too…so since it is the fifth compuyter sketch, hence the tile, of course E stand for ‘electronic’, actually this sketch isn’t the fifth one, but more like the fifth one I am reworking, anyhow it is almost of no interest, so  the latest version of this sketch, that is undergoing some reconstruction, another expression for redrawing, repair errors….

J’essaie de penser à sauvegarder des versions intermédiaires, plus facile à faire lorsque je peins, le rythme est plus lent….
donc quelques versions dans ce diaporama, bonne chose que Photoshop permet de revenir en arrière et de sauvegardre quelques versions..

I am trying to remember to save different stages, easier for me in painting, the tempo is slower, so a few versions, good thing photoshop allow some backstep and saving versions.

Esquisse néon….Neon Light Sketch…

Ce qui est bien avec ces esquisses, c’est l’improvisation et la rapidité, hier soir, pas grand temps pour faire quoi que ce soit, un peu de sketch à l’ordi, repris une déjà comencé voilà quelques mois, après  avoir travaillé avec le stylet, pour l’une des esquisses, je fais des copies aux dix minutes, lorsque j’y pense…j’en ai modifié une en jouant avec les courbes de luminosité et autres paramètres de photoshop…le résultat, d.où le titre…

What I do like from this sketching thing, is the rapidity and the unexpected that often comes using this medium, started with a previous sketch, from a few weeks, months ago, did some changes working to make it a bit more portrait like, and then of one of the saved versions, did learn my lesson, I am making copy to the 10 minutes, when I do remember to do it, and started playing with a few parameters in photoshop, the end result is a somewhat electric result, hence the post’s title…

Une panne, j’espère que tout reviendra à la normale bientôt, donc de mon lieu de travail un article improvisé, heureusement j’avais téléchargé une autre version de la chanteuse, en espérant que ce soir tout soit de nouveau fonctionnel…

My internet connexion is down, hopefully it will be restored tonight, in the meantime from the office, here is an improvised post, fortunately I did upload another version of my unknown singer, so while waiting for things to get back to normal…

Not quite sure what she’s doing, fixing her stocking maybe, I imagine it but it is not quite clear even to me..:)

Quelques esquisses de plus de ce modèle connu mais dont je ne dévoilerai pas encore le nom et la photo, mais j’ai fait deux sketchs de plus, et cette fois j’ai pensé à sauvegarder au moins ces deux versions, donc voici les deux dernières, la plus récente en premier…

Encore occupé à griboullier ou sourillier dans photoshop, cette fois d’après une photo, un croquis à main levée d’après la photo, enfin à souris levée…je pense sérieusement à me procurer une tablette, en tout cas je trouve que c’est une façon de travailler mon dessin, comme dans tout, faut en faire pour garder la main, évidemment par après j’ai mis la photo originale dans un calque sous-jacent, pour voir si j’avais bien capté la pose, et corriger un peu, mais pour le moment je l’utilise plus comme un croquis qui sera probablement un jour tableau, quant à savoir si je vais m’inspirer plus de la photo et faire un tableau plus photo réaliste ou le croquis et laisser plus grande place à l’interprétation, ou les deux, reste un débat ouvert pour le moment….

A bit more doodling with the mouse and photoshop, this time I did a sketch, very sketchy…of a model, one I did a pastel before, not this pose but maybe it could be a basis for a painting, and in the same time I did found back the joy of drawing, trying to catch the pose, first ‘à la main levée’ freehand, actuallly mouse free….and  I did put the picture in the background, just to see if I was off…not too bad. but of course drawing with a mouse and constantly changing the setting in photoshop is a bit hindering the pleasure to draw, but I like it so far, still not quite decided if it will be more or less realistic, maybe I should do a few and maybe two versions, one more realistic, the other wilder, and more like sketches…the debate is still open…

Et finalement je me suis décidé, pas au sujet du tableau, mais j’ai acheté une tablette graphique…que maintenant j’attends impatiemment….:)

And finally I did came to a decision, not about this future painting, more about buying a graphic tablet, and now I am waiting for the delivery….very impatiently…:)

Ne cherchez pas la définition de Sourillage dans le Larousse, petit Robert ou autre dictionnaire…donc ma définition…un gribouillage ou croquis libre, sauf que j’ai troqué le crayon ou pastel sur papier pour Photoshop, souris et écran…et comme par hasard, un modèle est comme sorti du fouillis de pixels qui se promenaient sur l’écran….là je me dis que je devrais peut-être investir dans une tablette graphique…un nouveau jouet à acheter…hum on approche de Noël…

I prefer the term, that I used in french, although you won’t find it in a dictionnary, sourillage…or translated freely doodling with a mouse, and photoshop, just started drawing the shape and then she appear from the pixels merging one into another, kind of fun, especially when you don’t feel like setting up paints and else, it doesn’t replace painting for me of course, but kind of a nice way to fool around with forms and colors and graphics effects….and I start telling myself Christmas isn’t too far, maybe I could ask to Santa for a graphic tablet, or maybe I just go shopping myself…
