Mon/My Photo Blog...in english...broken english et français
Je pense qu’on dit un goéland, lorsqu’on est loin de la mer..mais pas sûr; je ne sais pas si la même confusion règne avec la langue anglaise, la seule traduction que je connais est seagull…donc une photo…
In french we have two words for seagull, mouette or goéland, seems that mouette apply to the ones living far from coastal areas, actually both do…I did not find the same questionning in Shakespeare language…Seagull seems for both…anyhow a pic
It’s funny though, because we have seagulls in Calgary and I have often asked my friends, why are they here so far from the ocean? Maybe the French are wiser to have two names! ❤

But I am still confused…:) from photos I’ve seen, I think it is a ‘goéland’, maybe they did follow the St-Lawrence river and adapt..:D. They seem to love spots nearby fastfood restaurants, especially Kentucky’s Fried Chicken..:)
