For a few years I have been using Picasa for mounting these videos, making of for my paintings and pastels, but It is discontinued and since it is not maintain may present a security risk, so I have been trying other tools, but while they are easy to use they don’t offer what I am looking for, especially for transitions effects, so since for many years I do own Adobe Suite including After Effects and Adobe Pro, I have been able to do some simple work but owning a software doesn’t mean you do master it…so I have been dipping into learning more of these tools so to use them as my way to produce these videos, these of course are not necessary but I do find them nice to look at and I think they are appreciated
So a short test, not completed, but I can add slides as the painting will continue and I will look more into what is possible to do with these softwares. this one test is made using After Effects / Donc un test, fait en utilisant After Effects, bien sommaire, mais je pourrai ajouter d’autres photos montrant les étapes et explorer les effets de transition
It is still far from what I want, but I think it is going in a good direction, even if I am very unsure the direction it should go…:) but I think that learning these tools could also be used in some others projects I am running, like putting together Autocad courses or else, projects that I intent to continue the day I will finally retired fully, but not rich enough to stop working completely, so If I do have to work then, may as well try to be something that I do not consider work…:D
Interesting! Having the transitional effects on video would make for a gentler progression. Also, of course, it takes up less space than multiple images.
Yes I did it for the first 2 or 3 slides, and I did not reformat the size of pics which are big and not useful for this purpose, I think also I could work fewer slides in After effects, doing many parts that can be put together in Adobe Pro which also allow to resize and reformat the video….like I said many experimentations to carry out… I more used to work with Autocad or Photoshop, it is a different ‘ballgame’ but an interesting one..but so far a bit time consuming, but when I will find the right way I guess I could save it as a template and just put the photos from each works and do the job.
Very neat! I’m sure the learning curve will pay off in the near future!
