Parfois, je ne sais trop pourquoi, ou comment, mais mes pastels, enfin plutôt le papier me donne du fil à retordre…en fait ici je pense que c’est ma mauvaise habitude, de garder de vieux bouts de pastel, fusain, conté, et autres matériaux de diverses qualités, et certains je crois marquent le papier et sont difficiles à corriger et couvrir, et là j’ai perdu patience avec ce pastel et j’y ai mis des touches de gouache afin de couvrir ces zones problématiques, surtout lorsqu’elles sont dans le visage…donc la suite de ce pastel, enfin pastel et gouache…

Sometimes, and I am not sure exactly why or how, I have a hint, probably my bad habit of keeping together all kinds of dry drawing materials, pastels, good and cheap, conté, hard pastel, charcoal and almost everything kind of chalk I bought over the years…and has it is happening here, the paper get smeared and almost impossible to correct or cover, and like on this pastel these marks are on her face….so I got tired of trying to fix it and added some gouache…so the latest version of this pastel, actually now pastel and gouache…
