For the last two night, I did a bit of reworking on that acrylic painting, I did showed a few days ago, yesterday wasn’t that good….it happen, more with acrylic, seems to me, more like a rollercoaster….up and down….in french we say les montagnes russes for rollercoaster, russians mountains, I know there is mountains in Russia, but to me it is more lot of plains….well, don’t know why, it doesn’t matter I guess…so back to my painting, yesterday was not very good, today I think it is coming back…but that will be for another post, of course I did took a few pics, not many, but I’m still showing pics, whenever it was good or not so good….
In the meantime, and to stay with the acrylic topic…an older painting done in 2006…
Le modèle est/The model name is Pania Rose
No pics of the previous stages, did not have a numeric camera then, just old style pictures, maybe somewhere, but not many of them, then I wasn’t taking as many pictures…sadly…
Les montagnes Russes is such a wonderful word. 😀 Makes roller coaster seem so boring. I think I will call them Russian Mountains from now on!
Love your painting!
Thanks! Russian Mountains sounds very good to me too! I should look to google translation for roller coaster in russian and back to french to see what it’s give…:)))
finally founded where it comes from…wikipedia…around 1700 in St Petersburg, they were making small hills of snow and using toboggans to ride on these hills…so it is were it is coming from…:)
