Non pas de top modèle aujourd’hui, ou pas tout-à-fait top modèle, moins connu, non plutôt une de ces innombrables clichés, merci à la photo numérique, qui fait qu’on risque des clichés en se disant, je vais les effacer si cela ne m’inspire rien du tout….enfin tout cela pour dire que j’ai de nombreuses photos, des milliers, qui je le sais ne seront jamais matière à grande exposition, souvent ces clichés sont pris dans des conditions vraiment loin d’être idéales, ici dans un autobus, de la fenêtre, en longeant le port de Montréal, la photo est plutôt ordinaire, mais je me disais que cela pourrait servir, à quoi je n’en suis pas sûr mais pourquoi pas en faire une étude ou esquisse, à la tablette, en se servant de la photo originale comme modèle, la photo n’est pas placé en fond d’image, tout est tracé, dessiné, peint à partir de l’écran vide….le syndrome de l’écran blanc, un syndrome que je ne connais heureusement pas…:)

No top model, or not so top model either, just one of my thousands of not so beautiful pics, oh each have something, ok maybe not all of them, but having something doesn’t mean you want to hang this pic on your wall, maybe some do but most of the time they will stay on a hard drive, waiting for some way to use them, like I told myself each time I do click the button of my camera, I know I might use them but never quite sure how and mainly when…so this one I thought it might make a good sketch, using my tablet, not sure if I do want to use a canvas and make a real painting out of it, so for now and probably ever, it is a digital sketch, I could have use the pic as a reference layer in the file, but like on a real canvas, I prefer starting from a blank sheet, more precisely a blank screen, colored or not it depend and draw, paint, move the pixels more freely, maybe at the same time trying to reassure myself that I can still paint or draw, and as for the blank canvas or screen canvas, it does seem I never really experienced this, luckily…

Et la première version de cette esquisse, cela ferait peut-être un tableau intéressant, moi est les paysages, je n’en fais pas beaucoup, mais si un jour je veux rentabiliser mon art et subvenir partiellement, très partiellement à mes besoins de retraité, faudrait peut-être que j’y pense….on verra….

And the first version of this digital sketch, maybe it would make a nice painting, landscape are maybe easier to sell, which would not hurt, being retired, money is become more and more scarce, each time I did a landscape, it went, maybe the Universe is sending me a message…:D
