Non pas ma chatte, elle en a encore plusieurs….dont Miss Croquette qui s’est ajoutée, je parle plutôt d’une esquisse à l’ordinateur que j’avais commencé en 2015…avant la grande interruption :), tout ce que je savais de cette chanteuse photographiée de dos, est qu’elle venait de gagner un Grammy…maintenant je sais que c’est Ariana Grande, devenu populaire, je ne connais pas sa musique, je doute que ce soit mon genre, j’étais plus attiré par la photo…..donc la dernière version.

No I am not talking about my female cat, she still has a few name, with a new version Miss Croquette…I am rather refering to a computer sketch started in 2015, before the long disapearance…:), all I knowned then about this singer, is that she was at a Grammy Award show, since then she is more popular and I did found her name, Ariana Grande, I don’t know her music, I doubt that it would be of a style I do appreciate…I was and am more interested in the pic of her….so the latest version of this digital tablet sketch using Photoshop.

I like using the tablet to explore for my paintings, actually I do have one in progress about this one, and I hope eventually that it will also make good digital art…not quite there yet, still exploring using more Photoshop tools I am not used to, guess will see how it does evolve.

J’aime bien travailler à la tablette et Photoshop, encore en mode exploration…j’utilise bien peu d’outils de Photoshop, je suis encore en apprentissage…pense qu’on l’est toujours faut dire, peu importe la technique utilisée…en attendant je pense que cela peut être un bon outil de sketch pour un tableau, en cours d’ailleurs, en espérant qu’éventuellement ces sketchs seront en eux-mêmes des oeuvres ‘présentables’…pas encore là mais pas trop loin…j’espère.

Pas d’internet à la maison…No internet at home…

Une panne, j’espère que tout reviendra à la normale bientôt, donc de mon lieu de travail un article improvisé, heureusement j’avais téléchargé une autre version de la chanteuse, en espérant que ce soir tout soit de nouveau fonctionnel…

My internet connexion is down, hopefully it will be restored tonight, in the meantime from the office, here is an improvised post, fortunately I did upload another version of my unknown singer, so while waiting for things to get back to normal…

Je prends de plus en plus goût à ce médium, bien sûr ce n’est pas comme peindre sur la toile, et l’effet de dessiner à l’aide d’une tablette graphique ne peut se comparer à peindre à l’huile, tout comme d’ailleurs le pastel ou l’aquarelle ne se compare pas à l’huile, par contre ce que je retrouve c’est le plaisir de dessiner, et je prends moins de précautions quant à ne pas ‘faire d’erreurs’, à la limite je reviens à une version précédente et même je peux en faire des versions multiples, ce qui ne se fait pas si facilement lorsque je peins à l’huile, donc j’imagine qu’il s’agit tout simplement d’un nouveau médium au support qui peut varier selon ce que l’on en fait par la suite, j’ai quelques idées qu’il me reste à évaluer. Alors ce soir j’ai repris cette chanteuse qui m’est inconnue, et retravaillé l’esquisse, une différence notable pour moi avec ce médium est la rapidité, la version la plus récente.

I do like more and more working with this new tool, my graphic pen and tablet, of course it is not oil or pastel painting, first the support is a bit elusive, no paper, no canvas, the computer screen, but I like the handling, the effect, even if I have not discover yet much of the tools available in photoshop, and I like also the freshness, and somehow, I can be a bit less careful, if something goes wrong make a copy and change it, or revert, no so easy with oils, but I have to still figure out what I will do, there a few ways of printing them or using them as animation, so I don’t know yet…so I did rework this unknown to me artist, it was taken in some sort of video awards, but I find her quite interessing… so the latest version..
